I came to Australia 4 years ago from the mega city Sao Paulo to begin my environmental education after a successful career in the Brazilian film industry as a production manager.I was inspired by my sister(a film maker) and her husband(projects manager) who work with WWF in Amazon to come and study permaculture.
I have studied with Bill(Melbourne Trinity) and Geoff(Diversity),and continued on as an intern for 6 months at Diversity farm in the Channon.
During this time I worked on all systems on the farm and attended the Earthworks course at Milkwood.
I have extensive contacts within the South American environmental and permaculture communities.
I was lucky enough to complete the Accredited Permaculture Training course at Northey Street City farm with Dick Copeman in 2009.
I have also worked with the Gold Coast city council in their Natural Areas Management Unit(NAMU) and will complete my Certificate 4 in Land and conservation Management early 2011.
I am a founding member of Permablitz Gold Coast,with Leah Galvin and also Permaculture Gold Coast,who are a dedicated but small group of amazing people.
I am currently working on various projects including Schools,Community and Botanical gardens and helping them pursue more sustainable outcomes,and learning every day.
I enjoy tropical perennial gardening and spending time with my partner and children and the wonderful friends I have in Australia.
