Recently, with my friend Stuart Pledger, i've been blessed with the opportunity to attend the Nordic Permaculture Festival held at Angsbacka - Sweden.
Other participants origins were Brasil, Argentina, Spain, France, Austria, USA, Holland, Germany, England, probably more ...
Enjoyed the warm communication, experiences sharing, networking and receiving - exchanging inspiration from the people and the professional way it was organised.
Presented a short introduction to Permaculture in Traditional Villages, talking from my personal experience in Chao Sobral and Aldeia das Amoreiras in Portugal.
In the end the participants grouped according to their "relative location" in Sweden, geographical position, and these groups had the chance to quick brainstorm about next steps ... such as the new Stockholm facebook group, permablitz ideas ...
The next Festival will happen in Norway.
By chance, i've met there a friend of the mother of a friend that lives in Finland, they both happen to going to live in the same eco-village! Got a lift that week to Finland, for a really short visit. A small and meaningful Permaculture world.
