I am 34 years old and interested in alternative lifestyle and sustainable development. I am seeking more opportunities to learn and experience permaculture. I am also interested in alternative medicine and took several courses about qigong in China.
I have also experienced the Peruvian rain forest for 2 weeks in a permaculture project that was also a center for alternative medicine.
I previously worked in oil refineries for several years as an operator. And I am very good with computing and internet research. I speak fluent English and Arabic and a little Spanish and I am interested in learning other languages.
I first heard about permaculture from the news. Then I saw the greening the desert video. I have since been collecting and studying about it as a good solution for a sustainable future. At one point I decided to go to Jordan for my first PDC then soon after that to Australia for the internship.
I have a lot of books and videos related to permaculture and I always try to tell anyone one I meet about permaculture whether online or real life.
I am currently busy arranging my affairs at home and searching for my next opportunity.
My current focus is health and self-improvement, though I am working towards a sustainable lifestyle.
update: in my current situation and as how i see it , I am just collecting money the normal ways in job and business until retirement and when I can get a land I will make a project. in the mean time I will just fill my living place with plants as much as possible and retrofit energy and water saving measures. but i consult and spread the word as well.

Mushrooms can create a slight breeze to spread their spores even if the air is calm. They release water vapour, cooling the air and creating a convective current that gets the air moving, carrying spores away from the parent.
