The Centre for Peace and Reconciliation Studies (CPRS) and the Centre for Agroecology and Food Security (CAFS) at Coventry University invite you to a groundbreaking workshop on the emergent concept of Stabilisation Agriculture. This workshop sets out to define a shared understanding of agriculture in the context of stabilisation after natural and man-made disasters, to identify best practice and constraints, and to develop an agenda for research and policy development with the aim of improving interventions.

Brief keynote presentations from internationally active academic, policy making and practitioner organisations (presenters tbc) will be followed by roundtable discussions. A workshop report, including action plan, will be produced and circulated.

The workshop will be held from 10.00am-4.00pm on Monday 20 June 2011 at:

Coventry University London Campus
East India House
109-117 Middlesex Street
London E1 7JF

Tel: 020 7247 3666

Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided. PhD students travelling from outside London may apply for a travel bursary to attend the event.
