I am an Electric Power Engineer with a Master of Engineering degree in Electric Power Engineering. I also have a PhD in Business Administration in Management and Organisation. I retired as an Assistant Professor in 2020. I work as a free lance consultant on renewable power generation, with a concentration on wind power generation. Since 2019 I am representing Saft Batteries Industrial Standby Division in Turkiye.
I received my PRI PDC in July 2011 and my first PRI PDC Teacher Training Certificate again from Mustafa Fatih Bakir, in November 2013. I received the 2nd one from Geoff Lawton during my 10-Week Internship program at PRI Australia, Zaytuna Farm, NSW.
I completed my 10-Week Internship at PRI Australia, Zaytuna Farm, NSW, with Geoff Lawton and Nadia Lawton between January 20 - March 28, 2014. Beside getting huge amount of practical experience on permaculture techniques and on farm management; I received courses on Permaculture Earthworks, Permaculture Project Establishment - Permaculture Aid in Action, Urban Permaculture Design, and Sustainable Soil Management.
I applied what I learned first at home in my balcony in Istanbul, then in my small vineyard of 3000 m2 located at Hoskoy, Tekirday, Turkey (3.5 hours drive from Istanbul towards West) which I sold in 2020 because I moved to Izmir in the middle of November 2021. During autumn 2020 I transformed my mother's summerhouse into a partially sustainable settlement collecting its water, creating its soil and producing its own food.
As of February 1, 2021 I am accredited as PRI Australia PDC Teacher. By the end of November 2023 I gave twenty PDC courses with 401 graduates. Two of my graduates already started to teach Trees and Their Energy Interaction, Soil and Water within my PDC courses. Two others are also moving ahead towards becoming a PDC teacher. In medium term I have the vision to establish a Permaculture Academy near Izmir, a city on Western coast of Turkey.

Permaculture Design Certificate Course with Practical Applications, 3-17 September, Izmir, Urla, Turkiye. The course is open to international participants. Registration started at www.drpermaculture.org. Course will be given in English.
