Hi there,
We completed the Permaculture Practical Applications Course that I organized between Juy 21-25, 2021 at Zeytinlibogaz Permaculture Farm, Golpazari, Bilecik, Turkey.
20 participants enjoyed learning by practicing various high level soil improvement techniques like hot compost, worm compost, compost tea, biochar, bone char/bone dust, and biofertilizer. Contour leveling and swale construction was an important and rare experience. Seed balls, mulch, raised-beds were applications related to plant systems. 3 groups re-designed the farm and presented their designs to the farm owner, Mr. Selcuk Sahin, who was very happy of receiving valuable suggestions for future development of his farm.
Lots of joy, fun, sharing, and celebrations were also part of the practicum. Looking forward to the next one...
