(projects i'm following)
I am working on developing a permaculture model farm of seven acres as part of the LivinginPeace Project, which aims to incorporate the elements of permaculture, travel, art and education into a sustainable business.
The travel side of the business is well underway. The LivinginPeace Project (www.livinginpeace.com) has a backpacker hostel and a motel complex.

The above facilities attract a steady flow of domestic and international visitors, many of who come to see the permaculture farm.
The permaculture farm development is also underway, but we're really in need of a dedicated permaculture design teacher to take charge of the project, develop the farm and organise a PDC course in the winter months.
We have a blank canvas for a permaculture design teacher and will be able to offer the right person the opportunity to provide both practical and theoretical permaculture training courses as well as exercise their permaculture skills in developing a model farm that can be visited by young people from all over the world, people who are already visiting the site.
The art facet of the LivinginPeace Project involves the artist-in-residency programme and we host an artist for several months by providing free accommodation and a space for the artist to work. We have thus far hosted seven resident artists and the programme has proved very popular.
The education part of the project involves art workshops and courses and tours of the permaculture farm and eventually we hope to conduct PDC courses here in the winter months when our accommodation facilities are under-utilised.
