I spent today planting the last of the fruit trees in our forest garden, the total variety of food products now equals, Almonds, Apples, Black Currants, Gooseberries, Peaches, Pears, Persimmons, Plums, Pomegranates, Raspberries, Red Currants, Strawberries, Rhubarbs and Quinces: Then there are the herbs Burdock, Horehound, Lovage, Mace, Rosemary, Self-heal, Thyme and Wormwood. With seventeen varieties of willow to provide cuttings for edible hedges all around our holding as well as mulch for the forest garden.
