As an adolescent I was already fascinated by natures beauty and interested and involved in nature conservation in the Netherlands. Worked as gardener and professional landscaper and was involved in a national working group that protects birds.

Since 14 years I'm living in the hills in the beautiful Parc regional du Morvan in France. Together with my 5 neighbours we found us a self supporting lifestyle. Surrounded by such a rich biodiversity I was encouraged to look more into ecology and practice permaculture in my daily life for a better fit in this rich natural environment.

Just started to renovate a third old farm in this hamlet my new home.
I like to invite HelpXers and wwoofers who are interested in an self sufficient life stile and work with permaculture principals.
Last 10 years over 120 wwoofers and HelpXers from all over the world lived and worked with me.

In the quite winter period i have time to work as a permaculture designer to make some designs for former Helpers and wwoofers who started new projects, the ultimate exchange.
In 2015 a nice plot of land in La Manille offered the possibility to set up a new perm garden to grow food, experiment, learn and teach.
