I am a passionate designer, installer, and teacher of ecological design and permaculture. I love to share my sense of awe of the natural environment with others while inspiring people to begin their own path towards a regenerative culture. I have been actively teaching, promoting, and installing water harvesting and permaculture systems throughout the Southwestern United States since 2006. Today, I am the Director of the San Diego Sustainable Living Institute, a non-profit teaching permaculture to the local community and beyond. We teach multiple PDCs per year. I have taught many permaculture design courses including a few for Northern Arizona University, Prescott College, and The Ecosa Institute. I have a Master's Degree in Ecological Landscape Design from Prescott College.
A few of my garden installations have received notable press. My high elevation suburban homestead in Flagstaff, AZ is featured in Toby Hemenway's "Gaia's Garden" and one of my earlier greywater installations was shown in Art Ludwig's "Create an Oasis with Greywater."
