(projects i'm involved in)
I graduated in 2013 from Geoff's online PDC, prior to getting certified in permaculture, my background has been biology and health, which has given me a focus on which to apply my permaculture knowledge. Amongst all the permaculture topics, I’m most interested in animal systems and medicinal plants.
I became interested in permaculture after attempting to grow my own food and raising chickens. While showing me his black soldier fly bin, a friend mentioned that I should look into permaculture. I’m so glad I did, because my life has taken a turn for the better; I no longer feel trapped by the failing systems destroying our planet.
I’ve since started a permaculture company, Green Earth Permaculture, through which I do my consultancy work, and an online network of city farmers and gardeners, OrganicVillageCo-op.org, through which I'm bringing locals together to trade homegrown produce. My intentions are to increase awareness of permaculture through local workshops and talks and to start teaching it to whoever will listen.
