I began studies in horticulture in 2007, and not long after, I found the permaculture designers manual in the library. I tried to read it page for page and it took me a long time to make a dent in it as I found myself reading bits over and over again trying to comprehend and retain it. in 2008, I was still carrying that (heavy) book everywhere and reading it and I even took it with me to The Channon when i went to do my PDC with Geoff and Nadia Lawton. I remember Geoff saying something like "Hm.. I've never met anyone who tried to read it cover to cover. it's more of a reference, I dont think it was intended to be read that way." after a month at Zaytuna I had so much to think about I stopped reading the book and I haven't picked it up again until recently. Give me another 2 years and I'll tell you how it ends.
I'm a gardener for hire in Brisbane. stop asking me to mow your lawn! Look how sunburned I am! Let me plant you some (f!@%&) trees!
