Originally from South Australia. I have two young children. We have 5 acres in Butte County, CA and 1/2 an acre in Washington County, OR. We are eager to get off the grid as much and as soon as possible. We're taking the steps to learn as much as we can about the multitude of topics that fall under the umbrella of permaculture and are striving toward living an ecologically sustainable life. My wife just got a job in Marysville as a teacher so we are moving nearer our Northern Cali site soon (June 2016) and hope to have a house built late this/early next year.
