I'm originally from the SF Bay Area of California, now training to become a yogic monk. Writing this I am in Taiwan, though soon to be in Davao, Philippines without internet connection for more or less 3 years :O.

In summer 2010 I took a PDC with Christian Shearer at the Panya project in Thailand. I wanted to expand my knowledge of sustainable living and I found permaculture to be a practical approach to do so.

We just finished hosting an inspiring and successful PDC in the south of Taiwan at the Ananda Suruci Eco-village. I have been living and volunteering here for over a year, applying permaculture techniques I have learned while at the same time going deeper into my spiritual practice. In March this year (2011) I will head to a Yoga Seminary in Davao to began training to become a monk. There I will continue to apply what I have learned from permaculture by experimenting with natural methods and hopefully inspire others to do the same so together we can make the world a healthier environment for all to thrive in.
