Problem: Heavy rainfall was flooding garage/workshop because of sloping concrete driveway.
Solution: Redirect run off down the side of the building to water fruit trees.
I found a length of acrlyic on the council pick up that would be ideal for a water diversion strip.
The piece was cut in half lenghtways using a circular saw.
Holes were drilled through the strip and into the concrete using a multi conscruction drill bit.
Countersinks were drilled so the screws would be flush with the strip.
The screws that were used self thread into the concrete.
If another strip was made further up the slope, I would elongate the holes in the strip to stop it bowing up with warm temperatures.
Also note the water diverting frying pan, this stops water going into the mystery hole (no idea where it goes).
