Many of our plantings have reached the 3 year mark and they are maturing well and producing fruit. Each year brings more bounty.
We have dug more swales and have now an extensive swale system on the property.
This Spring we have planted more perennial veggies besides the asparagus we planted a couple of years ago. We have planted rhubard and good king henry. We were a little late with sea kale so that will be added next year. We have also covered the regular kale and good king henry beds with old screen doors to filter the plants from the hot sun which is helping since the tend to like cooler temps.
