The Inaugural Michigan Permaculture Convergence is taking place this
Autumn season in southeastern Michigan at the beautiful Camp Talahi.
This first annual Michigan event is also the dream seeding of the Great
Lakes Bio-Region Permaculture Convergence. The goal of this convergence
is to gather folks who are interested in sharing knowledge and
information about permaculture design, principles, and practice. Folks
of all skill levels are welcome to participate, whether this is your
first introduction to permaculture, or you have been practicing for
years... in fact, sharing in a diversity of skills and knowledge is an
essential ingredient for strengthening community and increasing our
resilience to a changing climate and economy. And it's FUN.
So. Are you ready?!
We’re
going to get dirty building a garden to bond with the earth. We're
going to meet with people interested in specific types of living
situations (urban, suburban, rural, intentional community) to see what
has worked for each other and what hasn’t. We're going to have break out
time so you can talk about specific topics with interested parties from
across the state (alternative fuel network anybody?) or go sunbathing
or playing instruments or dancing or whatever else you might like to do.
It's all happening, and you're invited!
So, please, join us in creating an important bridge and networking event for the future of our lives and our humanity!
