Seed packets created and distributed in edition and as part of a performance for the festival.

The seeds were harvested at Barjac, in the south of France. In the town, it was decided by the mayor for all children to have organic meals at the local school for lunch.

The discourse about this event and testimonies from local citizens about agricultural policy form the background for the French movie "nos enfants nous accuseront".

At the same time, Anselm Kiefer (student of Joseph Beuys) transformed the grounds and buildings around his studio nearby into a sculpture.

This was documented in the movie "over your cities grass will grow".

The design for the artwork on the packet is an amalgam of a sunflower field at the end of its cycle and a fertile fruiting sunflower head.

The sunflower seeds in the packets, are meant to be sown, grown and harvested.  And in turn be redistributed.
