I had been a pollitical ecological landscape designer for few years when I met Bill and Sandy in The UK and Ireland, along with Sylvia Eagle and more. They spotted me, and convinced me to be a PC designer.
Dan the Man hemenway then came on a course we organised with Richard webb for 3 weeks to teach teachers for global training, and so it started.
i quickly started practicing Permaculture and opened the very very first Irish permaculture design centre in 1986 / 1987.
From that we trained many famous Irish PC designers and acted as a hub to micro start the movement here. once the 3 origional principle of PC changed, I started to question the motives of the Pc movement and directed my energies into saving native species, which is still my work today.
I have compleated 100's of designsd with elements of PC and thought 100's about Pc both nationally and privately.
I am considered one of the very best when it comes to the structure of the ecological aspect of the design in Ireland. just ask about me...
My experience with native species is vast. I make my living with them and have inspired the entire country through my work in growiung native wildflowers.
see www.wildflowers.ie for aspects of my work.
