Born in Mexico, getting tastes of the rich Spanish culture and LIVING most of my life on the island of Bali have moulded me to whoever I happen to be today.

Living surrounded by dwindling sawahs (rice fields) I have had intrigue in the functions and aesthetics of agriculture for a long time. Earth being my element and the joy I feel from touching soil, as well as the sounds of the jungles and wilderness in Bali have always inclined me towards nature... However it is much simpler than that, the land is our home and I have the unconditional duty to protect and live in harmony with it, it gives us so much, gives me too much!

At the moment I am involved in the school BUF garden (Bali Urban Farming) where we use methods of Permaculture, I am currently the group leader and I feel that the creativity you can express in one little garden is limitless! I have also taken part in a Permablitz with some friends in Bali and am looking forward to taking part in many more.

How is Permaculture Revolutionary?

Permaculture is a quiet, unstoppable and thoroughly effective form of revolution, and on the contrary to to most revolutions in the past, it is about living in harmony with nature and with your community.
