(projects i'm involved in)
I grew up in Tijuana, Mexico. Since I can remember, I've felt a strong attraction to plants and animals. I moved to San Diego, CA, studied Architecture, and then got a Bachelor in Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba, where I first heard about Permaculture. After graduating in 2003, I returned to San Diego and focused on Residential Design, implementing as many passive energy conservation strategies as my clients would allow.
In 2013, I took my first PDC course with the San Diego Sustainable Living Institute. Since then, I’ve been implementing different Permaculture methods into my garden and learning as I go. I also acquired a property that I am in the process of turning into an urban Permaculture learning center in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico.
As my intention is to teach Permaculture, in 2015, I took a second PDC course with Geoff Lawton (online) that has allowed me to dive deeper into the world of knowledge that is out there. I will continue this Permaculture journey, learning, practicing, and sharing.
