I am a practicing massage therapist - turned permaculture enthusiast by way of Stephen Morning, my friend and director of Kaw Permaculture Collaborative, where I became certified in May 2012 in Lawrence, Kansas.
As I had traveled around the globe reaching about a dozen countries and living in various states, I had always yearned for a meaningful approach to "way of life". Permaculture found me in my early 30's and I am now ready to pursue it's vast world of possibility.
My first project has been in the collaboration of a design for a local community garden using permaculture principals with an emphasis on perennials. I hope to soon find more community projects to hone experience in. My true passion lies in natural building, so I look forward to a workshop to manifest those skills as well; as I see an increasing need for affordable, sustainable dwellings. I currently live in Denver, CO and am hoping to escape the city very soon. I am also looking for a farm to work and live on, with my two labs and cat. It's a tall or order, but I am hoping the abundant universe can provide.
