Passionate about the intersection of nature and music, I have dedicated myself to understanding and promoting sustainable practices. My journey into Permaculture began with a deep interest in mycology, which has since become a cornerstone of my professional development. I have acquired extensive knowledge in Sustainable Development, Food Waste Management, Permaculture Design, and Agroforestry.
Living in Oslo, Norway, surrounded by rich forests and a diverse mycological environment, I developed a strong desire to understand the natural world better. My self-driven education led me to study the cultivation and production of edible and medicinal mushrooms, both on small and large scales. This ongoing exploration continues to deepen my understanding and commitment to sustainability.
While working at a prestigious catering company in Norway, I became increasingly concerned about the excessive food waste and unsustainable practices. This concern prompted me to take a PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate) & Agroforestry System course at Boomland School and the School of Ayurveda in Portugal, under the guidance of Silvia Floresta, a respected leader in global Permaculture. The knowledge I gained in Sustainable Systems Design, Natural Cycles, Biodiversity, and Cultivation Techniques reinforced my commitment to sustainable practices.
Motivated by what I learned, I initiated projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact within the catering company. Conducting waste audits independently allowed me to quantify the waste generated monthly. Despite the lack of support from management, this experience further fueled my passion for sustainability and motivated me to pursue further education and development in this field.
I completed the UN's Food Waste Reduction course, gaining a deeper understanding of the global issue of food waste. Following this, I undertook the Sustainability Business Management course at CISL, University of Cambridge, which provided me with a robust foundation in global corporate sustainability.
Currently, I am channeling my passion into a project that promotes environmental awareness, sustainability, and respect for nature through music. I believe that music has the unique power to transcend social, cultural, and territorial boundaries, making it an ideal medium to foster empathy and shared values aligned with sustainable goals for a better world.
