Being grown-up in the northern Aegean countryside of Turkey I have a basic knowledge of traditional and conventional agriculture practices from my childhood and teenage days.

I've been working as a translator since 2004 and I have specialized in ecology issues. I have participated in Turkish editions of Masanobu Fukuoka's books and currently translating his third book into Turkish. I had also attended a 2-day workshop on natural farming principles and practices by one of Fukuoka San's student Panos Manikis, in İstanbul in 2010.

I am one of the co-translators of Bill Mollison’ A Designer's Manual’s Turkish edition. As the translator of the book I have been invited to attend the PDC by Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton in 2010 in İstanbul and partially participated in this course but got my certificate later on in 2012 by Mustafa Bakır and Rhamis Kent.

I have been aiding in the establishment of farms and gardens based on permaculture ideas and principles and I have been running my own small-scale natural garden wherever I move since 2012. I was a resident of Kızıltepe Permaculture Farm in Turkey.

I am a practitioner of Zen Buddhism and Qigong.
