I graduated in 2011 with a degree in History from Manchester University, have worked at Spa Cycles in Harrogate selling touring bicycles and completed an internship with Geoff Lawton at Zaytuna Farm in 2014.

My interest in permaculture was piqued at University as my reading exposed the depth of global problems and the necessity of immediate action. I began with documentaries and books but quickly moved into action on an experimental project on a disused plot while listening to podcasts - a tip of the cap to Paul Wheaton.

I have a solid understanding of permaculture ethics, practices, methods and strategies and intend to flesh out my range of site experience across climate, acreage and theme.
