Hi all, I was born, and lived till I was 17, in Mosman in Sydney, right opposite the zoo. After moving to Airlie Beach in Nth Qld I accidentally became a fisherman. After 3years fishing on the Great Barrier Reef and in the Gulf of Carpentaria I shifted to charter boats. Later I got my Master's ticket and spent 10years driving charter boats and private yachts. After marriage and kids we moved to Bellingen in Nthrn NSW, and for 5years we lived the alternative life, at nighttime I studied.
I did my first PDC in the 90's, my 2nd and 3rd courses with Robyn Francis & Francis Lang at our place in Bali. I was granted my Diploma in 2000 and since then, all the work we've done, developing our family business*, my consulting work and building projects**, has been soundly based on PC Principles. Permaculture changed our lives and empowered us, we're enjoying a great life, and we're doing good works, all founded on Bill Mollison's extraordinary insights.

Currently, having spent years building, consulting and doing projects, it now seems the right time to do some teaching, and the Eco Lodge is a great venue. My bias is clear, I want to facilitate caring, practical mainstream people in making real changes towards sustainability. I encourage business people to take part, I believe that many of our urgently required solutions are to be found in business management. I want to emphasise the importance of economic sustainability, the everyday need to get paid doing meaningful work, or to do ethical business.
And I especially want to emphasise that, as our family has demonstrated, you can build a beautiful life on the solid foundation of Permaculture.
