I am Carol Galvez of The Pitak Project. I am an activist most of my life and worked with the youth, women, LGBT, and the indigenous peoples.

In 2012, me and my partner Cye, with other women activists, pledged to promote permaculture and natural building. Our exposure to economic and social injustice bounded us to choose a path that can show that it’s possible to care for the people, the earth and share its bounties without exploitation. This is The Pitak Project.

We are on our second year working with our project and our vision is to become a school for permaculture and natural building in the near future. Hope to meet many friends and like minded people so we can inspire and support each other.
