I received my trees from the Indiana Forestry service. Now I have to plant them. 100 of each Hardy Pecan, American Hazel, Black Chokeberry. I also ordered a few Indian Blood Peach trees, Au Rosa Plum, and Green Gage plum. I'm currently adding to myfruit production and some nut trees/shrubs. I have an area that I've let the grass grow the past few years. I'm cutting a few paths that I'll keep cut with the mower and plant the tree along the pathsto make it easier to harvest and still have an interesting layout. My path work was cut a bit short with the ground still a bit wet I almost got my lawn mower stuck. Luckily with my wifes help we got it back to the barn.
My swale is doing great. It's helping to keep my vernal pond full of water. Although it spring. Lots of rain and the plants are not using much yet. I need to get some images to upload.
