My girlfriend and I love mangoes. The good thing is we can get them here, cheap and tasty. The bad thing is we can get them only between March and May. So we decided to build a solar dryer with PVC pipes and Cellophane. Easy, cheap, quick and resistent. There is some mesh to let the air flow. We bought a plastic shelf to put the fruits, and add 3 layers of mosquito mesh to increase the surface. Our mangoes are dry in only 2 days. Perfect to take away as snack :p
