In my home Town (Tucumán, Argentine) some time ago, a group of people interested in forming an ecovillage gathered with this goal, and of course interested in using Permaculture to such end. Although my partner and I have been traveling a lot lately, every time we return here we contact them and small projects arise.

This is how we were invited to be part of the activities that took place last May 10th as a celebration of the International Day of Permaculture in Natural Sciences University. It was a real pleasure to us to be a part of it and to share what we know and our love for Permaculture with a very enthusiastic audience.

With my partner, Sergio Torrego, we discussed "Global Permaculture" and showed them that Permaculture could be applied in urban or rural spaces, in any kind of weather. We also discussed different kinds of collective actions such us: Transition movement, ecovillages and also PRI Master Plan.

After each presentation we had a round of questions and interesting debates very enriching for everyone.

Balance of the day: Over 100 people learned about Permaculture and they left desiring to learn much more!
