I bought the house in late 2008 and started a few projects, but the flurry of activity began in the spring of 2009. We built community gardens (keyhole beds for the most part), a kiwi trellis, an herb spiral (with strawberry patches around it), and lot of other fun stuff.
I got addicted to having an outdoor shower and bath when I lived down in Tucson. So I dug a dry well, plumbed things up with hot/cold running water from the house, and freeze-proof taps so we can soak under the stars in the winter and put the water back into the gardens.
