Chilean licensed Architect with 6 years of experience in design, project coordination and project management.
Felipe's varied portfolio---- from designing high end residences, to coordinating large-scale sustainable infrastructure projects funded by NASA, Stanford University and the Bill Gates Foundation---- has allowed for his deep understanding of society, sustainability, and profound, positive impact of good design upon the two.
Drawn to San Francisco, Felipe has worked as a consultant for multiple firms including the award-winning design firm Smith Group JJR. Upon receiving a permaculture certification, Felipe resolved to shift his design focus towards building sustainable, ecologically balanced communities. He currently runs 18th and Rhode Island Garden, a 5,000 sq ft permaculture demonstration site on Potrero Hill, and is the lead designer and co-founder of Integrated Habitats, a San Francisco based ecological design studio.
