I grew up in the countryside, my father is a farmer. I have Bachelor's degree in ecology and biodiversity conservation, I travelled for a year of in Mexico and Canada and then studied oceanography and moved on to the Master's studies of geography teacher.
I have always loved nature and my choices in life have been influenced by the wish to be close with the nature. I first heard about permaculture in the Rainbow Gathering, Mexico 2008. When I travelled to Vancouver Island (Canada), I met with people who were practicing permaculture and this understanding grew into me. When I got back to my home country, I started investing permaculture on my own.
At the moment I am participating on online-PDC course with Geoff Lawton. I have land to work with and I have started with some vegetable-beds and swales. I will continue working with my own land and getting more experience. I would like to show people of Estonia, that permaculture is something to get inspired of and I feel that it can offer many solutions to the problems we are facing in our country and also on the planet. I am dreaming of creating an Estonian Permaculture Institute.
