Originally from Houston, I moved to El Paso, TX, in my early twenties. It was here that I fell in love with gardening—a passion that has only deepened over the past decade. Watching my family grow inspired me to take a closer look at the food we were eating and how it nourished our bodies. This journey led me to dream of cultivating my own food and ultimately introduced me to the transformative world of permaculture.

The values, principles, and holistic approach of permaculture resonated deeply with me, and I felt a calling to share its benefits with our local community. I believe an urban food forest is exactly what this region needs to thrive.

My passion lies in empowering others through education. I aim to teach our community—anyone eager to learn—how to grow their own food, whether in their own backyards or local business . I’m thrilled to work alongside this incredible community to cultivate a natural food oasis right here in the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert.
