Rick is a high school teacher, retail businessman and community leader from Bingara NSW, Australia.
He is passionate about small communities and that they survive and thrive well into the C21st.
Among his interests and projects is The "Living Classroom" and Bingara Farm Gardens, an integrated organic farm/garden development on the edge of Bingara.
The project was devised in 2009 and now with Federal Government financial input of more than one million dollars is about to commence construction.
Among its objectives is the integration of urban and rural communities to produce local food and crafts with maximum re-cycling of wastes, minimum non-renewable energy and optimal community involvement, so as to be self-sufficient, inspiring and a model for sustainability.
"REGENERATION" is our main theme with design for a sustainable future and engagement, involvement and productivity from every generation within our community.
