A duty on products and services used in India is known as the Goods and Services Tax( GST). In India, the GST has substantially supplanted other circular levies including excise duty, Handbasket, and services duty. Based on the Goods and Service Tax Act, which was approved by the Indian Parliament on March 29, 2017, GST came effective on July 1st, 2017.
