I have been an activist and permaculturist for over 16 years. I have a deep passion for creating harmonious community that will support and nurture its members in a sustainable and loving way. My skills include: permaculture, natural building, carpentry, beekeeping, djembe drumming, web design, internet-based entrepreneurism, and massage therapy.

I became interested and involved in permaculture through my environmental activism, combined with my interest in sustainable living, natural building, and gardening. I started designing websites around 2001, mainly offering my services to environmental groups. I went on to become the webmaster for HopeDance magazine, which has always been very supportive of permaculture, and webmaster for the International Permaculture Conference (2007, 2009). In the Spring of 2007 I lived at a remote site near the Ventana Wilderness in Calif., helping start a permaculture farm there, while at the same time attending a PDC (which I was not able to complete). Between 2003 and 2008 I lived at about 5 different places, all having some connection with permaculture. I have also been a volunteer organizer and networker providing permaculture and IT help to people in Haiti.
