I studied the permaculture principles and techniques for approximately 10 years online and through books by various authors and at last did a PDC with Belinda Ross in 2020. I believe we are custodians of the creation under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and that we were created to care for the earth in such a way that we honor Him and bring His creation to it's full potential. To accomplish that we should teach as many people as possible to work with nature and not against it. We had an example of a garden in Eden of which Gen 2 says: And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; ... And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, ...
Thus every inch of God's creation should be transformed into a garden, pleasant to the sight and good for food. Even when habitation is planned for man and animals it should still honor this principle.
