With a background in administration and education, I am a full-time wife and mother.

My husband, Shariyf, and I had a dream to own land and homestead in true harmony with nature. This, in turn, moved us towards permaculture. It integrates with our beliefs and standards and provides solutions to everything that modern technology destroys.

The shorter half of a truly motivated Permaculture team, hubby and I are establishing a homestead and organic farm in Roy, New Mexico. This is a project from the ground up, as we have to build everything from scratch. It is a beautiful way to develop to our design, without having to work around things. We are excited by the challenge of growing a wide range of things in a cool temperate semi arid climate with drought conditions and really strong winds - true permies, LOL!
