I've been active in ecology and sustainability for many years on a personal level, enjoying nature and engaging in environmental activism.
I decided to strengthen my skills by studying permaculture, and found it to be a natural fit for my interests and capacities in things like systems thinking and conscious design.
I presently manage a nonprofit in Reading, Pennsylvania called Permacultivate, where we engage in permaculture education, demonstration, and consultation projects with a focus on regenerative and resilient urban design.
