I am an Argentine English translator and teacher of English and Spanish, currently working at the University of Buenos Aires as the assistant to a climate change senior researcher.
Since I still (but not for long) live in the city of Buenos Aires, my first, shy approach was to Hydroponics, given I lived in an apartment. My goal was to produce the basic salad leaves, tomatoes, carrots and vegetables in general for my daughter and I and also to be able to share the excess with my relatives, acquaintances and neighbours. In reading about hydroponics, I got to know about the existance of Permaculture.
After selling my old apartment, I bought a smaller one, saving money to buy a piece of ground, somewhere out of the city. I bought a 2500 sq mt piece of land in Crotto, Tapalque, Province of Buenos Aires and currently I am taking the PDC with Tierra Martinez at Instituto Ná Luum.
I am currently working in the design of the site and finding the learning amazing and energizing.
My aim before starting already was to enhance the life of the community where I plan to grow a house of culture and shelter for all those who want to live as one with our earth home and school.
I am single and fine with it, not exactly looking for a partner, but it could be nice to meet someone with of the like goals and principles/values.
