I am a medicine women, wildcrafter, garden fairy , green thumb, regenerative farmer, keeper of the old ways, seed sister, self made entrepreneur , permaculture consultant and teacher, soil scientist, climate activist and sustainability ambassador. I have always had a connection with nature and its vast energetic elements.I find my self drunk with curiosity when it comes to science and nature. I studied sustainability at Butte community college, which is accredited as Californians leader in sustainability. During my time at Butte I was given the opportunity to be an intern for Strategic Energy Innovations, learning about biochar and soil health, including two consecutive internships and co - managing a intricate Pg&E funded bio-char field experiment , while helping members of the California Biochar Association. I'm the girl that finds biology and natures magic absolutely fascinating and incredibly powerful. I cant help but to continually be super excited to learn and experience new and familar global and local symbiotic relationship in the garden, on the farm, in the community and through out surrounding biologically ecosystems. watching nature at work is facinating!!! I believe scienece education and being familiar with ecological functions and systems can save your life, change your life and will grow your daily consciousness. Connecting nature to my daily routine has opened huge channels of success to my life and has improved my over all physical and mental health. Being able to grow food for my family right outside my front door is a gift that keeps giving. Permaculture is a gift I am passionate and dedicated to teach others. I am blissfully driven to training, sharing, growing, teaching and building resilience through applied sustainable techniques. Permaculture and life skills education is the web that connects us to being self sustaining , successful food producers and potentially successful entrepreneurs. At our farm we make compost and grow soil out of recycled green waste materials. It has been beneficial in re-mediating the lands health and ecosystems vitality. Building soil has allowed us to cultivate gardens of food security ; ) We believe in using an inclusive method that allows plant and nutrient diversity to thrive. We are dedicated to being organic and conscious growers. We began our homestead at De La Vega Farms in February 2018 and are very excited to grow and share our permaculture food forest farm and demonstration site through out the years to come.
