I've been a gardener all my life, learning various methodologies - square-foot, Perelandra, organic - you name it. Each method taught me more about the world and the lens through which I explore life. Permaculture was the first to offer whole systems DESIGN, and I couldn't get enough of it. I began to Permaculture everything, and as much as I love food, I love social and financial Permaculture as well.
I am currently applying Permaculture principles in the design of a new bank (yes, you read that correctly).
I love teaching and have a Permaculture test site at my home, exploring city/neighborhood Permaculture with our hands in the soil, and as a metaphor for exploring resilient community system designs. I am also one of 25 TransitionUS (http://transitionus.org/) workshop leaders.
I am the author of "Honoring All Life - A Practical Guide for Exploring a New Reality," and hold a MSc. degree from Gaia University in Organizing Learning for EcoSocial Regeneration.
Permaculture has taught me to be humble, knowing there is always more to perceive than I am yet allowing myself to understand.
