I began exploring the world of permaculture back in 2007, and it has been an empowering journey of self discovery and adventure ever since. After studying permaculture full time and working at permaculture projects worldwide I have spent the past few years running my own permaculture design based company, specialising in natural playspace and garden design and training for children and teachers. I combine this with a love and training in forest schooling for children and am working towards a collaboration of creating a pdc curriculum for children. My family and I have been exploring the world on a quest to find a home, which has taken us on world schooling adventures through Thailand, Nepal, Spain, the UK, Australia and New Zealand over the past few years, searching out interesting projects and opportunities for collaboration and growth everywhere we go. (You can read more about our families adventure on my blog and website, nimrobinspermaculture.co.uk)
Hopes for the future? To learn more every day, to feel fulfilled and content with the way I live my life, and to know I am doing all I can to ensure my child (and I) grow with respect, honour and understanding for this earth we live upon. Totally cliche, but mainly to be the change I want to see in this world.. an everlasting journey of discovery!
