Chris Pallin is an inspired permaculturist pursuing design initiatives in regenerative landscapes. Having studied with Delvin Solkinson, (Canada) and Geoff Lawton, (Australia), has acquired two PDC (Permaculture Design Certificates) and is committed to evolving the implememtation and management of sustainable food systems.
Chris was key designer of a three acre small scale Eco-village on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. The site is home to five adult residents with one main lodge and  three self contained outbuildings. Animal systems are mixed and are comprised of chickens, roosters, ducks and llama's all of which contribute and provide there own unique multiple functions. Food production is vast providing surplus with a variety of fruit, berries, vegetables, eggs, and culinary and medicinal herbs. All soil is produced on site.
As of 2017, Chris relocated to Southern Vancouver Island where the mix of both Oceanic and Warm Summer Mediterranean climate zones provide diverse ecological design opportunities. Inspired by natural systems, Chris will continue to design, consult and educate permaculture design systems, contribute to local food security initiatives and design for resilience.
