Originally from Mexico from a Mexican-German background, Astrid studied a bachelor in Pharmacy and Bioligy Chemistry. After finishing her degree she continued her study about Permaculture, sustainability, horticulture and medicinal plants amongst other topics. Since 2010 she has been living her life according to Permaculture principles, and therefore, living more sustainably and environmentally friendly.

Nowadays, Astrid teaches Permaculture and organic gardening courses in rural and urban areas. Her goal is to provide information and knowledge to anyone who is interested in having a more sustainable life.
