I am a retired university prof, formerly teaching cell biology, initially trained in zoology. Research keywords : nervous system, glia, calcium, secretion.
I had bought "Permaculture one" in the eighties, but I became practically involved in permaculture in 2008 when we bought a small piece of land (1,1 ha = 2.7 acres) in La Penne, 75 min drive from Nice.
I started writing my attempts (in french, sorry folks) with a series of articles published in "La Gazette des Jardins", so far about 30 episodes of "Aventures en permaculture". The first 19 episodes are available online : http://lesauvage.org. I wrote also a couple of articles in the swiss magazine "La Revue Durable" #50 (Nov-Dec 2013), and one presentation of permaculture on the site of Institut Momentum.
I am particularly interested in the culture and use of the perennial legume Caragana. I ate some of my production last year, failed to multiply it by cuttings, plan to improve the collection of seeds and to know more about their nutrient content?
