I received my PDC in 2011 from Calgary's famed Verge Permaculture and became an instant convert. After years of building self-renewing pond and guild systems on a rented orchard in central British Columbia my husband and I moved to my home state of California where I now run a sustainable landscaping design business, helping to rid our drought-plagued region of unused and dying lawns. I routinely incorporate permaculture-savvy plants and design thinking into all of my work - conventional gardens or fully edible ones.
