About 8 years ago I saw a documentary on BBC called Farm of the Future. At the time I was living in a city but I have always been more of a country type. Anyway the documentary got me thinking and started me on the path of learning about permaculture and sustainable living. To cut a long story short I have been living in the north of Portugal for the past 4 years experimenting and exploring permaculture techniques and ideas along with others in order to develop my piece of land and create a sustainable place for me to live and earn some money.
