My background is in research and technical writing (straw bale wall assemblies, cob walls, solar thermal/passive solar/thermal mass design). I have two degrees in mechanical engineering, a PDC through Verge Permaculture, and am completing my Professional Writing Certificate, specializing in Technical Writing, through the University of Calgary.

We have just moved onto a 40 acre piece of land 35 minutes outside the city of Edmonton. Our goal is to build a northern greenhouse, a net-zero home, and set up a permaculture orchard/garden/farm. Other goal and interest include rocket mass heaters, bees, chickens, rainwater use, greywater systems, and exceedingly clever designs that make life fulfilling.

Once we get rolling I will offer design services and technical writing services.
